§ 2.12.020. Bond.

Latest version.

Before entering upon the duties of his or her office, the village clerk shall execute a bond with security in such amount and with such sureties as may be required by the corporate authorities, conditioned upon the faithful performance of the duties of the office. Such bond shall be filed with the village treasurer.
