§ 5.48.020. License for laundry.

A.

Required. No person shall conduct, operate, maintain or carry on any laundry without first obtaining a license to do so as provided in Chapter 5.04. B. Application. The application for such license shall state the name and address of the applicant, if an individual, or the names and residences of all members of the firm if a co-partnership, or the names and residences of the principal officers if a corporation, and the location or proposed location for which the license is desired and the maximum number of persons to be employed therein.

C.

Investigation. Within ten (10) days after the receipt of the application it shall be the duty of the health officer to cause an investigation to be made of the premises described in such application, for the purpose of determining whether the sanitary conditions therein conform with the provisions of this chapter.

D.

License Fee. The annual license fee for laundries and laundromats shall be as set forth in the fee schedule in Section 5.04.180.
