  • The village of Hainesville ("village") developed this identity theft prevention program ("Program") pursuant to the Federal Trade Commission's Red Flags Rule ("Rule"), which implements Section 114 of the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act of 2003. This program was developed with oversight and approval of the mayor and board of trustees. After consideration of the size and complexity of the village's operations and account systems, and the nature and scope of the village's activities, the village determined that this program was appropriate for the village of Hainesville and therefore approved this program on March 10, 2009.
